Well-backed favourite and he didn't get much luck here (1m2f; close fourth) on his seasonal return in April; well-held fifth of 14 at Newbury last time but he now drops back in grade and is a big player if he can recapture his penultimate form; best efforts have been on good/good to firm. |

Handicap mark took a 12lb hit for finishing close up in a 1m2f Listed race at Goodwood last month (good) but she might have won that had it panned out differently (poorly positioned); surprising that she stays 1m2f given her pedigree, and this stiff 1m could be just the ticket; it's hard to know how far her current momentum might take her; considered. |

Won her maiden over 6f but upped to 7f/1m for this season's handicap runs and gave it a right good go on both occasions, latterly finishing upsides Ryka at Newmarket (good to firm) after moving strongly through the race; has edged up 5lb for those defeats but she wouldn't be the worst handicapped of these. |
