Expensive to follow since picked up from Charles Hills (turned over three times as favourite this year) and is tried in first-time cheekpieces (wore a hood at Yarmouth in the spring); a good test over a stiff 7f is fine but he doesn't always convince. |

Just one win to his name after 14 starts but he has performed with credit in four runs for his new stable, including second-place finishes at Lingfield (1m, AW) and Doncaster (7f good to soft); hood experiment quickly aborted; should go well again. |
