His neck success in 17-runner Ascot handicap (7f, good to firm) in July was a bolt from the blue but he couldn't back it up when slowly away and tailed off at Sandown last month; did run well on both previous starts over C&D, including when fourth in this last year, but he's risky. |

Both wins have been over 1m at Kempton and latest was in May; remains feasibly treated on that form but he's not easy to predict and looked short of finishing spark when upped to 1m3f here (9-1) last time; others look stronger. |
