Comfortable winner of a Wincanton novice (good to soft) when beating the EBF Final fourth Dartmoor Pirate and even better again when going down narrowly on handicap debut at Newbury (positively ridden as usual; 7lb lower); the winner of that has since followed up at Cheltenham; no easy task for him to make all in a race of this nature but the talent is there. |
