Not seen to best effect the last twice but before those this 3yo went close in a Glorious Goodwood handicap (1m, good to firm) despite being denied a clear run for a substantial spell; also effective on soft ground; no surprise if he bounces back to form with a big performance. |

Acts on good to soft, withdrawn last week when the ground was heavy; second win this season came when upped to 1m6f at Sandown in July, drawing clear again in the final 1f; those front-running tactics did not work out in the Melrose at York (tailed off) and he was well beaten over C&D three weeks ago, so may have gone off the boil. |
