Form & Verdict
Won a Curragh maiden over 1m on debut last November on easy ground; outclassed in a Group 3 on return and disappointing in a Cork conditions race; questions, especially on quick ground; tongue-tie goes on.

Useful Flat winner at the start of his career but failed to progress in juvenile hurdles last season after a promising start; also well held back on the Flat at the Curragh six weeks ago (final start for Joseph O'Brien); more than capable of making his presence felt in a race like this if putting his best foot forward but starts out for a new yard (same owners) with a point to prove.

Looked potentially smart when landing C&D maiden in November 2024; didn't reach heights expected in four starts in Group, conditions and handicap company last season but had a couple of good runs over hurdles in recent months; acts on soft and big-field handicap could be right up his street.

Flat winner (yld-sft) has shown promise in all three maiden hurdles at around 2m on varying ground; got to within 2.5l of Wizard Of Odds in a Cork maiden (2m, good) and that horse finished 5.5l ahead of Bibe Mus on his next start; opening mark looks fair and could go well with jockey claiming 5lb.

Debut second was on good to firm; showed plenty as 2yo, though it took him until reappearance in April before he won a maiden at Navan; returned there (again 1m2f on good) five weeks ago when going mighty close from well off the pace in a seven-runner handicap, travelling smoothly and battling, so he is probably set for better still.

When all his best form on the Flat and over hurdles is on good ground, it's best to put a line through his run on heavy in a French Grade 1 last time (November); he beat little of note when making hay in minor jumps meetings last summer but barely broke sweat in any of those races and his jumping was pinpoint accurate; one to be interested in for a trainer (also runs Glen To Glen) who knows what's required for this; gelded since his last run.

Flat form stands out in this company and he's looked a natural over hurdles in winning at Newton Abbot and Uttoxeter (good ground both times); penalised accordingly but should be hard to beat.

Just one win from ten Flat starts but ran creditably in two valuable races last month; easily justified very skinny odds to make winning hurdle debut at Newton Abbot (good) a week ago and could be very hard to beat here.

Form & Verdict
Was an unlucky runner-up in a handicap at Leopardstown over this trip last time after only two maiden runs (third both times); raised 7lb for that but should have improved since and be a big player; the owner of Dakota Blue is also a shareholder in this colt.

Curragh maiden winner (1m4f) was touched off in the Petingo at Leopardstown last time by a head (1m5f, good to yielding); up 2lb now; best form is on nice ground so a drying forecast is in his favour and the new trip may help him; towards the forefront of calculations but draw a disadvantage.

Improving 3yo went close in 1m2f handicaps early in the season and off the mark in workmanlike fashion on latest in 1m4f Curragh maiden in July; blinkers replace cheekpieces here and could have more to offer at this trip; 1lb wrong but rider claims 5lb.
