Form & Verdict
Hooded in both runs; showed plenty of promise when third at Kempton (6f, AW) in June and he built on that with his front-running third behind an odds-on rival at Glorious Goodwood (7f, good); sets the standard on that form and he's a big player back in calmer waters.

Talented, albeit is a shade quirky, and made a mockery of his mark in Southwell handicap (6f, AW) on reappearance; eventually dropped away in Ascot Group 3 since but may still have more to offer; not written off.

Five runs as a 2yo; made debut over 6f but campaigned at 7f afterwards, running away with a maiden at Chester (good to soft) before a good second in a York sales race last October; absent for five months prior to a facile success in a 6f handicap at Southwell in March, racing freely and hanging left in the straight but in a different class to some fair handicappers; in much deeper today and looks to face a stiff task at the weights but the Southwell performance smacked of a hugely talented, if slightly wayward, colt and this stiff 6f should suit; unraced on faster than good.

Consistent 2yo, including a facile success in a Chester maiden (7f, good to soft) in September, and was last seen beaten a short head in a valuable event at York (7f, good) the following month; back in trip for his handicap debut and the market should be revealing.

15,000gns yearling; ran well for a long way when third of six on C&D debut (good to soft) last month, but he has plenty to find in this stronger race and could be one for further down the line.

Placed on each of three starts, most recently over this C&D (fourth won next time); blinkers fitted for handicap debut but could have been better drawn.

Has shown some ability with his couple of third-place finishes at Epsom (7f); may show improvement switched to this sphere, being a brother to a triple AW winner; interesting contender.

0-5 but she's finished placed in her last four runs and was only beaten a nose at Ripon (1m, good to firm) nine days ago; found more progress with that bold bid and she's respected on this drop back in trip.

After 12 races, for two wins, she should be far more exposed than today's rivals; however, her best form was on last two outings when second at Epsom (8.5f, good) and winning with a steady late bid at Salisbury (upped to 1m2f, good; 4lb higher today) and that earns respect.

7f maiden win at Epsom last summer (only four ran); well beaten on her reappearance but she fared better when second of six back at Epsom last month (8.5f, good); stamina for this trip has to be taken on trust and less-exposed rivals may have her measure.

Busy as a juvenile when her nine runs yielded one win; that did come here (7f, good) in August but was quiet on last two starts and virtually tailed off on last month's AW comeback; return to this venue might help, and a handicapping case can be made, but otherwise has plenty to prove.

Aclaim filly who was a promising third on Yarmouth debut (7f, good to soft) last month; held in third again when favourite at Kempton last Tuesday, but the step up to 1m may have stretched her and she's open to progress back at this trip; dangerous.

Promising third of eight in 7f contest at Yarmouth, keeping on well and faring clear best of the newcomers; that form received two boosts in recent days; siblings include an AW winner; commands respect.
