Verdict
A record of one win in over three years hardly makes AUSTRIAN THEORY bet compelling but he should still have a bit of a class for a 0-70. He failed to prove that point when finishing a place behind Star Start in a similar race at Catterick last month but it could be a different story back on softer ground. Ruth Carr’s charge could pose the main threat assuming this doesn’t come too soon on the back of his near miss at Ripon on Monday. The hat-trick seeking Flightofthephoenix may not look well-in under a penalty but has to be respected in her current mood, while Henry Callan’s mount Revelio has much fewer convictions than the majority of these.
