Reappeared with a convincing handicap hurdle win here (2m4f, heavy) last October; didn't threaten in hot handicap hurdles at the Cheltenham (2m5f, soft) and Aintree (2m4f, good to soft) festivals but those weren't bad performances and he's entitled to respect on this chase/seasonal debut. |
