Verdict
Sidney’s Son sets the standard after his good second here last month but he’s had a few chances and significant rain wouldn’t be optimal. Violets Star (second choice) shaped encouragingly at Thirsk on her debut and she’s greatly respected but CHICO DULCE ran much better than the distance beaten suggests on his debut and he can last longer with that experience under his belt.[Paul Smith]
