In the frame in two points back in 2020 but she beat only one on her belated hurdling debut in novice at Ayr (2m4f) four weeks ago; significantly more is required.

A fairly useful bumper/points winner who was placed for the fourth successive start in this sphere when a good third of six in 2m3f Chepstow handicap 19 days ago; big shout reverted to maiden company here.

Came good over fences at sixth attempt, with 3m success here (heavy) in January, and ran as well as could have been expected when fourth of five in Wincanton Listed race (1m7f, heavy) a fortnight ago; still on a good mark; good chance.

Commenced her career with point/bumper wins; 0-17 since (0-5 in chases) but has a largely consistent record at Ffos Las and looks a solid contender in that respect; on a reduced mark and drops back in grade.

Verdict

Evan Williams’ reliable mare FOLLOWANGO has some fairly useful hurdling form to her name and looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to add to her points and bumper success here. Flemensfirth mare Imperious Star rates the chief threat now she steps up in trip with Josie Alice and Wrappedinrubies appealing as best equipped to fight it out for minor honours.[Peter Entwistle]
