9th Sep 2023 Standard To Slow 0m 6f 0y Class 1 |
9st 3lb |
After winning his first race by some 12l, he finished midfield in the Coventry and has since come up short in two Listed races, running rather flat last time at Ripon (scene of debut success) when behind Seven Questions; cheekpieces now added. |

Very impressive on debut over C&D (good) in May; hasn't kicked on as might have been expected but he was still a good Listed third at Newbury (6f, good) last month, when half a length behind runner-up Shagraan, and the return to Ripon could be a positive. |

21st Jul 2023 Good 0m 6f 0y Class 1 |
9st 2lb |
Mightily impressive visually and on the clock at Ripon (6f, good) in May, looking a smart prospect; flopped in the Coventry but it emerged that he suffered a cut to his shoulder four days before and, although passed fit to run, it might have affected his performance; moved out of George Boughey's yard since; remains of major interest. |

20th Jun 2023 Good To Firm 0m 6f 0y Class 1 |
9st 3lb |
Son of Mehmas (second to Caravaggio in this race in 2016); bought for 160,000gns at the breeze-ups and looked worth every penny with a startling 12l success on his debut at Ripon (6f, good; 4-1) one month ago, storming clear from over 1f out; may not have had much to beat but he recorded a time significantly quicker than two 3yo winners over the same distance on the same card and needs taking very seriously indeed in this higher grade. |
