Plenty of promise in his qualifying runs (beaten a neck on 1m Salisbury reappearance) and made a good start to his handicap career when third over 1m2f at Epsom (good to firm) on Derby day; the winner was a good fourth in the King Edward last week and the second won well at Pontefract on Sunday so the form looks strong. |

Showed promise and plenty of ability when taking minor honours at Nottingham (1m, soft) and Kempton (7f, AW) last autumn; late foal with a useful pedigree and he was beaten a neck in novice at Salisbury (7f, good to soft) on reappearance, making most and sticking to his task well despite persistently hanging left; open to further improvement, particularly as he's stepped up in trip like his stablemate Promoter. |
