Useful form at 7m/1m last season, fifth in the Irish 2,000 Guineas, third in the Jersey Stakes, odds-on for 7f Naas win; kept on for third in 7f Group 2 in Saudi Arabia in February; ran as well as could have been expected when fifth of eight behind the spectacular Ka Ying Rising at Sha Tin last month; trip possibly a little sharp for him.

Cork maiden winner last year and was gaining first win since when landing odds in minor Naas conditions event in July; highly tried at times, including smart form in both 2000 Guineas Trial over C&D and when beaten 5.5l in Irish 2000 Guineas; has been withdrawn due to soft ground before so ground unlikely to suit here.

Cork maiden winner over 6f last year; some fine runs in defeat in stronger company since, notably in Leopardstown 2000 Guineas Trial and Irish 2000 Guineas; below that form in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot last time and has to rebound.

Certainly bred for the job, being by Wootton Bassett out of a mare who won this race for Aidan O'Brien in 2012; has improved with virtually every run, finishing second to Henri Matisse in Leopardstown Group 3 (7f, good to yielding) in March and fifth to Field Of Gold in Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh (1m, good; faded) last month; missed his last intended engagement due to soft ground (impressive winner on good to firm); may well be the answer.
