Smart on turf but AW is his thing and he added another Listed win to his tally when dead-heating in the Kachy Stakes (6f) here three weeks ago; has a penalty to shoulder but that was also the case when he won the corresponding race in 2024 (run at Southwell); a lower draw would have been preferable but he looks set to go well again. |

Won the Group 3 Chipchase at Newcastle (6f, AW) in June and, while he's 0-17 on turf, he was a very close third in the Group 2 Duke Of York in May 2024; however, he was only fifth to Rage Of Bamby in the Group 3 Hackwood at Newbury last time and is probably up against it today. |
