Fourth in the John Smith's Cup over C&D and Cambridgeshire over 1m1f at Newmarket (both good to firm) on joining this yard last year and opened the current campaign with a win back at Newmarket (1m1f, good to firm again) in May; another creditable effort when sixth of 28 in Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot since, despite leaving the impression even a stiff 1m was a little on the short side; had winning form on softer than good in Ireland much earlier in his career; likely to be on the premises. |
