Had his quirks last term (gelded before final start; wore headgear last four) and going very close in the King Edward VII at Royal Ascot (1m4f) remains clearly his highest rating; first start on softer than good was his respectable third to Max Vega in Group 3 over C&D (heavy) last October; even peak form may not be good enough. |
