Favourite for handicap debut over C&D (good) in July and duly showed vastly better form, getting on top in a sustained duel with the second; 10-11 at Salisbury (1m2f, good to firm) three weeks ago and, although he took some pushing, he was comfortably on top through the final 1f; raised another 4lb but may well have more to give. |
