Not progressive in maidens following debut third behind stablemate Henry Longfellow here last July; belatedly opened his account in modest company at Gowran 13 days ago; that was his first time on good ground, and it seemed to bring out the best in him.

Solid if not especially progressive 2yo form on soft/heavy; very disappointing seasonal return dropped to 6f at the Curragh last month, plenty of early speed on unfavoured far side (one of only two to race that side) before fading badly (reportedly lost left-fore shoe); now upped in trip and the No Nay Never colt races on much quicker ground but plenty of questions to answer at this stage.
