Solid colt, RPRs 80-88 (7f/1m, good), and looks pretty straightforward; should give Master Of The Hunt a race; Group 2-entered.

Took advantage of his career-low mark when beating Donna Nook at Ayr (1m, good to firm) three weeks ago; not so good at Thirsk last time and he is not the easiest to predict.

He'd taken a healthy drop in the weights during an AW spell since December and was able to take advantage at Ayr (1m, good to firm) last week; ought to have another handicap in him off this 2lb higher mark but perhaps in a less competitive race than this.

Filly needed Naas debut but kept at it and should win races down the line; not hopeless for place purposes.

The Last Lion filly cost just 1,000Euros as a yearling; half-sister to winners New Endeavour (Group-placed 7f AW inc 2yo; RPR 111) and Johnny Boom (8.6f-1m4f inc AW; 81); dam unraced half-sister to 7f 2yo Group 3 winner Luminous Eyes; newcomer likely all the better for the experience.

Form & Verdict
Beat all bar two short-odds horses, including future Group 1 winner (stablemate) when really promising third at Curragh (fourth hacked up in maiden last week); should win albeit off two months; apprentice rode two winners lately for legendary yard.

Not progressive in maidens following debut third behind stablemate Henry Longfellow here last July; belatedly opened his account in modest company at Gowran 13 days ago; that was his first time on good ground, and it seemed to bring out the best in him.

Solid if not especially progressive 2yo form on soft/heavy; very disappointing seasonal return dropped to 6f at the Curragh last month, plenty of early speed on unfavoured far side (one of only two to race that side) before fading badly (reportedly lost left-fore shoe); now upped in trip and the No Nay Never colt races on much quicker ground but plenty of questions to answer at this stage.

Beat one home in a soft ground Listowel maiden and seemed far more at home on a sounder surface when bolting up from a subsequent winner in a Dundalk maiden the following month; very promising filly but the ground would have to be a concern here.

Well beaten in three maidens and has to improve plenty tackling handicaps; lacks a recent run too.
