Lightly raced 4yo with something of an all-or-nothing profile; put everything together when bolting up at Haydock (6f, good to soft) last autumn; might have needed the run when only ninth of 13 at Newmarket on reappearance; leading claims if building on that and cheekpieces may give him a lift.

Gelded prior to his autumn starts, winning at Haydock (6f) then perhaps hindered by heavy ground at Doncaster; lightly raced, in excellent hands and may still have further progress in him; remains of interest.

Strong form in defeat as a 2yo; bolted up, albeit in a weak race, at Salisbury in May, but lesser efforts have followed in hot handicaps at Royal Ascot and Newmarket since; gelded during his 11-week absence and a 5lb drop in the weights helps too; dangerous mark now.

Placed in strong races in his two 2yo starts (including C&D) and bolted up, albeit against modest opposition, on reappearance at Salisbury in May (6f, good to firm); warm favourite for the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes at Royal Ascot three weeks ago, his first attempt at 5f, and it wasn't a lack of pace that did for him, as he still looked a bit green and perhaps was not ideally suited by how the race panned out; still has potential.
