Form & Verdict
Last year's winner on seasonal return contested Grade 1 contests all subsequent starts, notably career-best when getting up to short-head A Plus Tard in Savills Chase at Leopardstown; only fourth to that rival in Cheltenham Gold Cup and ended season on below-par note here in Punchestown Gold Cup when never landing a blow on quicker ground; clearly runs well fresh and probably the one to beat again despite having to concede plenty of weight.

Grade 1 chase winner in his prime; not getting any younger and absent since close second in US Grade 1 hurdle in October but came second in non-handicap version of this race in 2023 (soft) and is now 1lb lower than when placed in last season's Grand National; drying ground will probably aid his cause; claims.

Form & Verdict
Last season's Troytown win remains his sole success from 13 attempts chasing although good runs in defeat including second in National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham; ended season however with falls in both Aintree and Irish Nationals; suited by race conditions and major player in receipt of 12lb from stablemate Galvin, providing he has got over those falls.

Likeable mare has a record of 3-5 chasing, notably latest two outings over the summer, in 3m Roscommon handicap and when beating Battleoverdoyen in 2m6f Galway conditions event, showing good attitude; handles soft but likes decent ground; bit to find with some of these rivals but could outrun her likely odds.

Former Grade 1 winner over hurdles and fences; not the force of old but good fifth in Galway Plate and on his first start for new owners finished decent third to Easy Game and Kemboy in Grade Champion Chase at Gowran 11 days ago; retains plenty of ability and respected getting 12lb from stablemate Galvin.

Grand stayer equally effective over hurdles and fences, scrambling home over the former at Listowel last month but well held since; plenty on at the weights here.
