Verdict
Off a handy mark and with William Easterby taking off 5lb, SHERIFF GARRETT may be able to record a second win in this contest. He’s much more exposed than some of today’s rivals but is well suited by this C&D and holds every chance on his best form. Second choice is Fenna’s Loss, who returns to the scene of his bumper success. Benito remains of interest, while Les’s Legacy has a big shout if he stays the distance and handicap newcomer Gold Emery is respected.[Steve Boow]
