Form & Verdict
Improving 6yo whose form has substance; opened his account at Plumpton (2m4f, good to soft; beat a subsequent dual winner) in January and ran well in Sandown handicap (2m4f, soft; clear second) last time; respected.

Useful three-time winning hurdler in Britain; yet to show much since joining this yard and extended chase record to 0-8 when beaten 31l in the Killarney National last time; 2lb drop in the weights and new blinkers not enough to tempt.

Form & Verdict
Proving consistent (form figures 4222) over hurdles, most recently second at Uttoxeter (2m7f, good to soft); bumper win came at this venue (on soft ground) and he ran well on sole C&D attempt; solid claims back here.

Form & Verdict
Dual chase winner in France; 0-10 over hurdles but a success wouldn't be out of turn, having proved consistent (form figures 222) this term; admittedly no match for a 19l winner at Leicester (2m4f) most recently.

Mudlover who has won four times over fences and he's run creditably at Warwick (3m, good to soft) and over C&D (soft) in last two starts; finished behind Lumi Plugin last time but he should give it another good shot and any rain would be a bonus.

Mudlover who was out of sorts in just three runs last winter but ran well for a long way in a better race than this at Bangor (3m, soft) in April and kept on gamely when third at Warwick (3m, good to soft) last month; this more testing ground will suit better; solid claims.

Didn't run badly when fourth over hurdles at Stratford last July and he's now 9lb lower; this 10yo is now 0-12 under rules having struggled on his three starts since but those were over fences; not ruled out.

Record of 1-7 in points and he's 0-11 under rules; still unexposed over regulations fences but he struggled back in this sphere in two runs at Worcester (2m7f, good) in the autumn; has lots to prove after four months off and he's well into the veteran stage.

Form & Verdict
Stablemate of Riskintheground; minor form in bumpers at Bangor (modest fifth) and this course (down the field); needs plenty of improvement for first-time tongue-tie and switch to hurdles.

Good ground is key to him, though good to soft is acceptable; after signs of a revival at the Cheltenham Festival he duly delivered in a competitive 2m4f handicap at Haydock, winning cosily despite narrow margin of victory; the 4lb rise seemed generous and when beaten at Uttoxeter he bumped into the talented Glengouly on a good day; all his best form is at shorter, so stamina would be the principal concern.

Good ground is the key to him; his form had nosedived but he was running much better when hampered late on at the Cheltenham Festival and then came good at Haydock (2m4f, good), prevailing only narrowly but under a confident ride in a strong race (he also won it the season before when staged at Cheltenham); a 4lb rise seems very generous.
