Came off the Flat in Germany where he ran creditably in Group 1/Group 2 company as 3yo; smart, though underachieving, hurdler last couple of years, often spoiling his chance by being too keen; ran well in Punchestown festival handicap hurdle in April and winning start over fences last month in weak race at Wexford; ran nowhere near mark of 110 in two Flat starts last year and current mark likely still flatters him a good deal; stamina concerns too.
