Verdict
Tony Carroll’s veteran RED ALERT is much better known as a sprinter but he stays 7f perfectly well and this rather uncompetitive race could provide him with a good opportunity to record his third win of the season. Savalas has left it late in the day to try this trip for ths first time but he stayed on for third over 6f here last month and is second choice, ahead of Letter Of The Law and Fact Or Fable.[Chris Wilson]
