Form & Verdict
The best of these on the Flat and ran right up to his best when third in a 1m2f Group 3 at Windsor on final run in that scene; despite being gelded and having a hood fitted, he again raced freely off a modest pace on hurdle debut at Huntingdon (good to soft) but still outclassed inferior rivals at long odds-on; Cheltenham will ask different questions of him but there is lots to like otherwise; ran well on soft during Flat career.

Not in top form since returned to the Flat but solid hurdles record (1121322) suggests a resurgence is likely; ran creditably, albeit fortunate to finish second the way things panned out, in the Champion Hurdle when last seen in this sphere; has the best chance at the weights.

Runner-up (albeit fortunate) in the Champion Hurdle in March and easily made all in this last year (soft; seems versatile ground-wise); he enjoyed the run of the race 12 months ago and hasn't shone on his two Flat starts this year, but he drops back in grade today and may once more benefit from an uncontested lead; could make another bold bid now back here.

Won the Golden Gates Handicap at this meeting in 2023 (1m2f, good to firm) and was a Listed winner at Newmarket (1m4f, soft) last September; runner-up in the Champion Hurdle in March, albeit fortunate; failed to settle when tailed off back on the Flat at Sandown (2m) last month and this drop back in trip seems a likely plus, but a Flat career best is required.

Only midfield in a 1m2f maiden on sole Flat start but he's the half-brother to a winning hurdler and had no bother in taking a Ballinrobe maiden by 8l in September (yielding) for Joseph O'Brien; the placed horses from that race have done little to advertise the form but he could be a fair prospect; makes stable debut.

Runner-up in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil first time out and reversed placings with the winner next time when third in a Grade 2 there (again 2m2f on very soft); the first two home have since dominated a Grade 1 at the same venue; he stayed on well on both occasions; it all adds up to him having fairly compelling form credentials for this.

No great shakes on the Flat and the form of his Sedgefield win (narrowly on good) isn't mindblowing form; however, was ridden more patiently than An Bradan Feasa when 6l off that rival in Grade 2 here last month (on soft) and a mistake at the last flight didn't aid his cause; looks a key player.

Highly productive run of form on the Flat this year from 1m to 1m2f (pretty useful form) and he continued the good work on hurdling debut at Wetherby (2m, good) where his jumping improved as the race progressed; holes in the form can be picked (runner-up was behind Eagle Prince the time before) but he wasn't remotely troubled; some doubts about him on soft ground.
