Sole success over hurdles came in January 2024 when trained by Archie Watson; she has offered little in three runs for current yard and it's easy to look elsewhere.

On a long losing sequence and offered little in two runs for her new handler, pulled up in 2m4f handicap at Leicester in January; now tongue tied first time; easy to look elsewhere.

Left Archie Watson after string of disappointing runs last season and dropped out very tamely on last month's stable debut at Carlisle (2m1f, soft); needs to turn a corner.

Last two runs in a tongue-tie; value for her narrow winning margin at Doncaster (3m, good to soft) and probably ran just as well in defeat at Plumpton (soft); did go up 2lb for that 2l defeat which was annoying.

Has won on soft; some low points along the way but she was quite a convincing winner back hurdling at Doncaster (3m, good to soft; first-time tongue-tie) last month, despite the narrow winning margin and bleeding from the nose; the latter issue is a worry and she's back up 5lb but will be a major contender if all is well.

Came good over fences at sixth attempt, with 3m success here (heavy) in January, and ran as well as could have been expected when fourth of five in Wincanton Listed race (1m7f, heavy) a fortnight ago; still on a good mark; good chance.

Point/bumper winner, who made the breakthrough over fences at Ffos Las (3m, heavy) two weeks ago but that was a minor handicap and she has lots to find back at 2m in this Listed race.

Commenced her career with point/bumper wins; 0-17 since (0-5 in chases) but has a largely consistent record at Ffos Las and looks a solid contender in that respect; on a reduced mark and drops back in grade.

Failed to shine on her two chase starts last season and pulled up on reappearance over hurdles; however, this lightly raced 8yo looked good when winning a novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m6f, heavy) last December and she may be the latest Venetia Williams runner to excel on testing ground at Haydock.

Party Vibes

J: David Bass

T: Henry Daly

Hurdle winner on soft but two chase wins in 2025 were on good to soft, latterly at Cheltenham (about 2m4f) in December, and failures since have come on heavy and soft; needs to jump better than she did at Ludlow in February (over 17l behind Malaita) but she could revive back on good ground.

Verdict

Party Vibes (second choice) is preferred to Chosen Hero among those who have already tried their hand over hurdles. However, they may well be vulnerable to FOLLOWANGO who dismissed her rivals with such ease in a bumper on heavy ground at this track last month. The Warwick bumper second Either Or should have a shout for Nicky Henderson.[Richard Austen]
