Form & Verdict
Clear second to a dual subsequent winner on chasing debut at Worcester (2m7f, soft) in May and returned from break with creditable third in much stronger race than this at Chepstow (2m7f, soft) in October; needs to put a duff effort in November behind him but remains very much of interest.

A three-time scorer (including over C&D) last season; hinted at a revival when a never-nearer fifth over 3m4f at Taunton last month so needs considering off a slipping mark.

Five-time chase winne, the latest at Ffos Las (3m4f, good) off this mark in October; has been below par in three runs since but his usual cheekpieces are back on and he may appreciate this better ground.

Readily beat a stablemate in small-field marathon here (3m4f, good) in October and will be fine on today's slower ground but his two runs towards the end of last year were disappointing and he needs to have been refreshed by 101-day break.

Form & Verdict
Left Dan Skelton after some disappointing hurdle/chase runs last spring but outran 33-1 odds when keeping on well for third in Ludlow chase (2m4f, soft; first-time hood) for new stable four weeks ago; still unexposed over this sort of trip; can pose a potent threat if that recent outing has brought him on.

2-13 over fences, latest off 1lb higher in June 2024 under Sean Bowen; form has been mixed since but she ran well for a long way at Chepstow on return from nearly four months off; on a fair mark if building on that.

Form & Verdict
3-6 since switching to current stable last summer, the latest win gained over C&D (good to soft) six weeks ago; might still be on the upgrade but needs to prove he can handle slow ground.

Resumed winning ways after six months off in 4m1f hunter chase at Warwick (good) 22 days ago; effective over this much shorter trip and this likeable front-runner is not out of things.

Highly impressive 26 finishes in the first four (eight of them wins) from 30 rules/pointing runs for the Owens, with stamina proven up to 3m6f; all-the-way hurdles winner over 3m2f here just last autumn (good), and likelier than some to run his race.

Form & Verdict
Free-goer who was prominent throughout when making the frame in his first two chases (both 2m1f, soft) and might not have been suited by the switch to more patient tactics when below that form over 2m3f a fortnight ago; swaps cheekpieces for first-time blinkers here; has stamina to prove but could take come catching around this tight track.

Made all at Newcastle (2m, heavy) in February and didn't run badly on last month's return to action at Kelso (2m1f, good to soft), which he could improve for; however, he has a major stamina question to answer here.

Form & Verdict
Dual chase winner (once here) at about 2m on good ground in June and seemed to have emerged from a spell in the doldrums when second (albeit well held) to revitalised rival over hurdles here (2m, soft) a fortnight ago; not sure to build on that recent effort today and yet to convince stamina-wise over this sort of trip but remains on a good mark.

Won over fences here (2m, good) in June 2023 but was well beaten here on both starts this autumn (2m4f hurdle/3m chase); still has stamina to prove over this sort of trip and is 3lb wrong today; others preferred.

14/1

Verdict

My Gift To You has done well since joining James Owen and was a C&D winner on his latest appearance but he might be vulnerable on today’s slower ground. PUDDLESINTHEPARK needs to bounce back from a poor performance in November but he ran well behind bang-in-form rivals in his first two chases and can be very dangerous off his current mark if back on song. Take Centre Stage might make a bold bid from the front in new headgear and is second choice, while Fancy Stuff made a very encouraging stable debut last month.[Chris Wilson]
