With inconsistency figuring heavily among the other profiles, CAPTAIN CLAUDE (nap) with his 2-2 record over fences rather stands out despite his rise in the weights. Both of those wins were at this track and the latest was over 3m2f. It’s not easy to choose among the rest but Eclair De Guye is a thorough stayer and Rock Of Star looked good in the spring, so cases can be made for them.[Richard Austen]
