Form & Verdict
Did enough to hold off a Willie Mullins-trained odds-on favourite at Navan last month; likely to have a lot more to offer and no surprise should he improve enough to go close here.

Unseen since taking the runner-up spot behind Kopek Des Bordes in last season's Supreme Novices' Hurdle (2m, good to soft); that was just his fourth hurdles start after placing in his opening two maiden hurdles at Leopardstown and Fairyhouse and comfortably winning a Listed novice hurdle (soft) over this C&D before his Cheltenham run; contender if running to his best but it would be a huge performance to win this after 416 days off.

Respectable third in sole Grade 1 attempt (final start in bumpers); opened his hurdles account with an effortless Listed novice win at Punchestown (2m, soft; went clear on the bridle) last month when ridden by Sean Flanagan for the first time and settling better than previously in this sphere; now goes in first-time hood as an extra measure, which allies with the likely strong pace; peaking at the right time and looks set for an interesting rematch with Workahead, who beat him at Leopardstown in December; owner-trainer landed this prize two years ago with a horse ridden by Michael O'Sullivan, who very sadly lost his life recently and is honoured in the race title today; a fitting success is conceivable, with further improvement likely.

Smart bumper form, winning at Navan (beat C'Est Ta Chance) and Naas before fine third to Redemption Day in Grade 1 event here; reversed form with that rival when second in a strong maiden on hurdles debut at Leopardstown; good chance here on the strength of seconds to the promising Kawaboomga at Fairyhouse; room for improvement in his jumping.

Form & Verdict
Won a Roscommon bumper on debut in September and has progressed since, finishing second in a Listed contest at Navan in December; probably vulnerable to a less exposed sort but helps set a decent standard and should go well.

Won a 2m beginners' chase at Wexford in October; went close in a 2m Grade 2 here in November; after a break, well below his best at Thurles in March; career-best with the help of new hold-up tactics when outsider of eight in Grade 1 Fairyhouse, beating Kappa Jy Pyke; third in a Grade 1 novice hurdle here a year ago; fair chance of staying this far.

Smart novice hurdler at up to 3m last season; made a solid chasing debut at Gowran over 2m4f; won over 2m at Wexford in October; went close in a 2m Grade 2 contest at Punchestown in November; well below his best over an extended 2m5f at Thurles last time; faces a stiff task at this level.

Won a 2m maiden hurdle at Wexford last year and often ran well in defeat in graded novice company up to 3m; made a solid chasing debut at Gowran over 2m4f; no problem with a drop to 2m at Wexford in October; went close in a 2m Grade 2 contest at Punchestown in November, no issue with a return to a longer trip.

Point winner and impressive on his bumper debut when easily winning here in December with subsequent winner Iris Emery in third; entered in the Champion Bumper and looks the one to beat here.

One of two for trainer; yet to win over fences after five starts, but some positive efforts behind quality opposition, including when 0.75l behind Funiculi Funicula at Cork last time (2m1f, yielding) under this rider; place chance.

Has won a point, two bumpers and a maiden hurdle plus placed in two Grade 1 novice hurdles last year; solid in defeat in his first three chase runs but below that form in a classy Cheltenham handicap last time; looks the better of the Elliott pair and a big player even down in trip.

Readily landed a bumper on debut at Cork 13 months ago; did not really step up on that in two subsequent runs; off for nine months but his best form is when fresh and the ground should be ideal.

Managed to win despite being too keen for his own good in a Killarney bumper in May; might want better ground but clearly has an engine but taking on a better class of horse here on his stable debut.
