Form & Verdict
Son of Camelot who is currently around the 20-1 mark for the Derby; defied market weakness in a 1m1f maiden at Tipperary (yielding) and confirmed himself top class when getting up close home in the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud in October (1m2f, very soft); had a subsequent Group 3 winner behind him and this week's Dee Stakes runner-up Bracken's Laugh; no question that he sets the standard.

2024 Irish Derby winner and Arc third; also boasts strong 1m2f form, including a close fourth in Irish Champion; beat White Birch in a C&D Group 2 in May and battled well to deny Anmaat over an extra half-furlong in Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup later that month; never looked happy in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes; will be hard to beat at this level if restored to form.

T: A P O’Brien

2024 Irish Derby winner and Arc third at 1m4f; four of his last five races have been at about 1m2f, though, notably when a close fourth in Irish Champion last September and when having to pull out all the stops at the Curragh in his two outings this season, all on good ground (acts on good to firm); latest was the 10.5f Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup in which he battled back to deny Anmaat, but it's a protracted struggle rather than a rapier thrust which is likely to see him to best effect and he might just be vulnerable.

Last year's Derby third and Irish Derby winner; top-class form at 1m2f when close up fourth in Irish Champion Stakes before fine third in the Arc; race possibly came too soon when flopped 13 days later back at 1m2f in Champion Stakes; stout display on return when mastering White Birch in the Mooresbridge, though the runner-up emerged with at least as much credit.

Form & Verdict
Confirmed the promise of his initial Curragh runs when comfortably taking a 1m maiden on the AW at Dundalk, albeit a very winnable race (runner-up now 0-3 at that venue); in the right hands to progress and he holds an Irish 2,000 Guineas entry.

Comfortably won Dundalk maiden (1m, AW) on third and final 2yo start and close third of five in Group 3 Derby Trial at Leopardstown (1m2f, good) on reappearance; changed hands for £480,000 on Monday (remains in same yard); in excellent hands to continue to progress and could be involved.

Form & Verdict
Second at Naas (7f) before justifying odds-on favouritism in a 1m maiden at Dundalk; neither race looks any stronger now than it did at the time and he has no loftier entries than this; has to take a huge leap forward.

Form & Verdict
Brother to Yorkshire Oaks/Prix Vermeille winner Warm Heart and holds entries in the King Edward VII Stakes and the Irish Derby; those entries would appear ambitious on his acheivements to date (well held in a Group 2 last season), though he was a late foal and improved for the step up to 1m2f when winning comfortably at Cork (soft; Euphoric in third); having the benefit of a run makes him dangerous.

Form & Verdict
Cost 1,900,000 as a yearling and has all the right entries; connections might have hoped for a better start to his career as he was all out to win his maiden at Navan (1m, yielding) and looked one paced when third to Bremen on his Cork reappearance; however, with his yard finding some form he could easily leave that run behind.
