Prospered after second to Western Fold on chase debut at Tipperary last May; hat-trick included small-field 3m Grade 2s at this venue and Navan; took time to warm up and left with plenty to do in the Brown Advisory, made late progress to finish fourth behind Kitzbuhel; towards the back when unseated at the 15th (Chair) in the Grand National.

A first-season novice won the 2022 Grand National when unraced beyond 3m1f and this Irish challenger (who's one year older) bids to repeat the feat; hat-trick this season included two small-field Grade 2s and when his winning sequence came to an end it was in the Grade 1 novice at Cheltenham Festival, where some slow jumping in the early stages left him with plenty to do but he made late inroads to finish fourth; he still looks capable of better and the longer trip could suit.

Progressive over fences, winning soft-ground 3m Grade 2s at Punchestown in November (beat Koktail Divin) and Navan in February (by 6l from The Wallpark) on his last two starts; has a better chance on form for his two-horse trainer than double-figure odds suggest; one to consider each-way.

Won a Punchestown maiden hurdle (2m4f) on heavy in February and a Kilbeggan novice over 3m1f in June; runner-up at Killarney and Listowel the last twice; go well but needs a bit more.

Better than ever for current yard, gaining two Listed wins on right-handed tracks (good to soft); jumped that way at times when held at left-handed Doncaster in hat-trick attempt; clear on ratings and the return to a clockwise course is ideal.

All her improvement for Willie Mullins came over longer trips and she very nearly won last season's Killarney National over 3m2f; however, after two respectable Flat runs for this yard, she returned to jumps with a near miss over a similar trip to today's in Chepstow's always-competitive Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle; clearly retains significant ability.

Bumper winner won a Flat maiden last month and decent handicap efforts since; yet to score over hurdles but some decent efforts; this is a big step up in trip and a bit to find.

Won three races last year, including handicap chases at Tipperary (2m7f, yielding) and Market Rasen (3m, good); is 6lb higher than for that latter win; shaped nicely on return from a break over hurdles at Wexford 23 days ago but soft ground would be a big concern for her.

Dual hurdles winner was in good form over fences last summer, winning twice; has won after a break before, so she's in the mix on return.

Flattered by second placing in a 21.5f Tramore beginners' chase on stable debut when benefitting from carnage at the second last fence; however, she was staying on pretty nicely so looks worth a go at this longer trip back over hurdles; visor goes on.

3-16 over hurdles for John McConnell, the wins coming at 2m3f-2m5f; has failed to match that over fences; has changed to a leading local stable; talented 5lb claimer rides.

Is 3-16 over hurdles but not at the same level over fences as of yet; there are signs of improvement, though and her run at Perth last time was her best so far; could be more improvement in new set of headgear.

Form & Verdict
Dual bumper winner last year, including in Listed company, before running respectably in a Grade 2; seemed ill at ease on the track at Galway on return/hurdling debut when outpaced late on over 2m; this trip on a more conventional track will suit better and can go close.

Impressive over 2m5f at Fairyhouse in December on second chase start; two lesser runs have followed in Grade 3s and there remains a question mark regarding stamina; however, Gordon Elliott and Rob James won this with a 7yo novice in 2020 and he's not ruled out in view of the Fairyhouse promise.

Dual bumper winner and won once over hurdles; better chaser this term however, running away with 2m5f Fairyhouse novice last month (soft) but came up short upped in class at Punchestown earlier this month; tries a new trip here and possibly vulnerable to some proven stayers.
