Hurdles winner didn't show much in opening chase runs, but there were signs of promise in his third of 11 on handicap chase debut here in January (2m4f, heavy); well backed in a Listed handicap here recently, landing the gamble by 0.5l (2m4f, heavy); up 7lb, but he made a number of jumping errors so there's scope for improvement; top chance if this trip doesn't cause any issues; the choice of Mark Walsh. |
