Lacked fluency and did not look ideally suited by the drop back to 2m on recent chasing debut at Uttoxeter (soft) so, in the circumstances, did pretty well to plug on for second (no threat to winner); unraced over this far but went close in a 2m6f hurdle in December; a possible if he gets into a better jumping rhythm this time. |
