Form & Verdict
Highly progressive staying hurdler last season after a 3m handicap win at Gowran; 66-1 third in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown; won Grade 2 Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park; maintained upward curve with Stayers' Hurdle fourth; failed to do himself justice at Punchestown; should make a smart chaser; trip is a question mark; experienced 7lb claimer.

Fourth in last year's Stayers' Hurdle after landing Grade 2 Galmoy Hurdle on winter ground; hasn't really taken to fences (pulled up in Galway Plate); handled good ground when winning less competitive conditions hurdle at Kilbeggan; beaten at odds-on in Tramore chase; best in at the weights here.

Grade 2 winning hurdler had seemingly lost way over fences and hurdles but regained the winning thread back over timber at Kilbeggan six days ago; that was a weak race but it should have boosted his confidence so leading claims now back over fences.

Enjoyed a fine hurdles campaign in 24-25, winning a Grade 3 at Gowran and finishing fourth in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham; winning debut over fences at Galway last September before things went a little pear-shaped; reverts back to hurdles here and at his best he would be very hard to oppose; whether he can produce his best is not so certain.

129-rated hurdler, only one win to his name, in a Clonmel maiden in February; placed five times, including in decent handicap company; 33-1 chance when in rear in the Galway Hurdle; soundly beaten behind the two market leaders on chasing debut at Killarney.

Won around Sligo last year and handicap winner over this trip at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting; also ran well when third at DRF; 2m6f was too far in the Galway Blazers, but fitter for that and this looks a good opportunity.

Won twice over fences in 2025, most recently off 9lb lower at Leopardstown in December (2m1f, yielding); has come up short in three starts since, weakening on latest when upped to 2m5f in the Topham at Aintree; stamina a query upped further in trip.

Stamina to prove and he failed to threaten when ninth in the Grand Annual last month; however, Cheltenham may not be his track (also not at his best there last October) and he showed improved form to win a competitive handicap at Leopardstown (2m1f, yielding) in December; only seven and there have been hints that this sort of trip may suit; no surprise to see him go well.

Form & Verdict
Won twice over hurdles early in the year and finished second in a competitive 3m handicap at Aintree's Grand National meeting; failed to sustain that form; made a fair start over fences when third behind a shorter-priced stablemate at Killarney; probably best over further than this.

Joint top-rated in here at 126 but this two-time winner has not gone with any enthusiasm recently and has pulled up on his last three starts; big drop in grade here and blinkers go on; risky proposition.

Won a bumper at the festival here in 2023; also took a 2m4f novice hurdle here last October; only subsequent run last season was in a Grade 2 event at Navan last December; should be sharper now than when outpointed by 143-rated hurdler King Of Kinsgfield over C&D on chasing debut.
