Turned in an excellent effort when winning the corresponding race from stall 1 (14 ran) last May, flying out of the stalls and able to get to the stands' rail after one furlong; also won at Ffos Las in July and both victories were achieved off a higher mark than today's; not at best last time but his reappearance had been encouraging; should make a bold bid. |

Not straightforward but he has more ability than his mark and his last two wins have been emphatic ones, latterly a near-5l success over 6f here 19 days ago (heavy; first time accessories); that form has been boosted by the reopposing Diamondsinthesand and a 5lb rise still leaves him lower than when running away with an Epsom handicap last summer (7f, good to soft); 5f asks a different question of him but his stamina will be an asset and they are likely to go hard. |
