Was a long-standing maiden over middle distances, but dam was a capable sprinter and dropping him back to 6f in a pair of blinkers has done the trick; followed up breakthrough win at Navan when winning in only slightly lower grade here; prominent racer got an uncontested lead then, but might have more to offer nonetheless. |
