Form & Verdict
Up front throughout when winning Sligo handicap over this trip; effectively 10lb higher, but further progress is likely.

Has shown improved form in her three maiden hurdle runs this season, two of them over C&D on good; third here and at Ballinrobe before a 10.5l sixth of 16 here last time; needs to find more on handicap bow.

Has shown improved form to take third in maidens here and at Ballinrobe; perhaps a little more is needed to make the frame here.

Form & Verdict
Long-standing maiden in both codes; second in claiming hurdle at Sligo two runs back; 7lb wrong at the weights and hard to fancy in this company.

Low-rated Flat maiden is 0-9 over hurdles but has placed a few times, including in a Sligo claimer last time (2m1f, good); had a stiff task at the weights that day so it was a creditable effort after a break; needs to build on that but 0-27 overall strike rate is off-putting.

Low-rated Flat maiden with minor placed form over hurdles; lacks a recent run and is not well suited by the race conditions; others much preferred.

Maiden over hurdles is rated only 74 so is out of his depth in this company; blinkers added.

Little impact in maiden hurdles and never a factor in two handicap starts this year; hopes pinned on step up in trip.

Verdict

Four of these won last time out. A brother to talented stablemate Zurich, Henry de Bromhead’s LUREKA DU NOYER was heavily backed at Limerick when making a winning start in Ireland and can follow up. Previously frustrating, Manoir De Mirande had a nice confidence-booster at Sligo while his stablemate Ardeen Joy dotted up against fellow mares last time. Crystabel is up in grade after winning on handicap debut. [Mark Nunan]
