Did not hit top gear during light campaign last season and was well beaten (albeit on soft ground) last month, after a break; on good mark now and might be seen to better effect if the ground stays good here but others have much less to prove.

Showed only glimmers of promise in three novice/maiden hurdles (2m-2m1f) during the winter and finished a well-held seventh of 12 on last month's handicap debut here (2m5f, good); down 4lb and back in trip but hard to warm to.

Struggled last season but won a 2m5f Kempton handicap hurdle (good to soft) off 3lb higher in February 2023 when ridden by Freddie Gordon; well-held fourth on last month's reappearance but he's entitled to be all the sharper for that and he's of interest back in a Class 5 and down in the weights.

Consistent rather than progressive in ten runs for Marco Botti; sold for 20,000gns in March; never dangerous over C&D on last month's stable debut; eased in class but needs more.

Looked a nice prospect when winning at Lingfield (2m, good to soft) in February last year; outclassed in Grade 2 at Kempton 11 days later and likely needed March's return from nearly a year away when down the field on handicap debut at Taunton (2m3f, soft); better can be expected with that run behind him but he has a bit to prove at present.
