Form & Verdict
Twice went close in Irish maidens (heavy/good) and came good on stable debut in a maiden at Newton Abbot (2m2f, good) in August; had a wind op since dropping out on handicap debut at Chepstow (2m3f, good to soft) and a tongue-tie is also added; better can be expected.

Looked useful as a novice but some lengthy breaks have stalled his progress; now returns from another and, other than when going okay when falling on his penultimate start, he wasn't in great form when last seen early last year.

Verdict

This presents quite a puzzle as a lot of them have chances but nothing stands out. ALTO ALTO needs to turn a corner but he’s responded well to new headgear in the past and he only ever wins here. There are reasons to believe that Sirekoff can leave his latest run behind and Jet Marshall is entitled to come on for his last run which was essentially his first after a long absence.[Alistair Jones]
