Landed the 2,000 Guineas, albeit having got first run on the somewhat unlucky Field Of Gold, then was trained for the Derby but missed that Classic as the ground was deemed not fast enough (has raced only on good/firmer); tackling 1m at Royal Ascot backfired as his speed looked blunted after being geared up for 1m4f at Epsom; definitely ready for this step up in distance and he was very progressive prior to last time. |

Justify colt who was a 2,300,000euros breeze-up purchase as a 2yo; raced only on good/firmer and was a late withdrawal from the Derby this month as the surface was deemed not fast enough; record of 3-4 includes two emphatic wins; held on by half a length from Field Of Gold in the 2,000 Guineas most recently, having got first run on that rival; improving sharply and, with his ceiling probably not yet reached, commands major respect in the rematch. |

Very progressive until having plausible excuses in the Sussex Stakes (found to be lame) and QEII (draw to some extent) in last two appearances; impressive wins in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes make him the one to beat, provided he's back in similar form. |

Disappointing 1-3 favourite in messy running of the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood in July but was found to be lame; prior to that he achieved superstar status when easily winning the St James's Palace Stakes here (1m, good to firm; round course), having also impressed in the Irish 2,000 Guineas (1m, good) previously; he'll be extremely tough to beat if back to his best. |

Ran creditably on soft ground in French contest once, raced on good/firmer otherwise; has followed a very similar path to his brilliant sire Kingman, who won this prize 11 years ago; looked a shade unlucky in the 2,000 Guineas, then gained compensation in the Irish equivalent and was again impressive in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot where he recorded an RPR that surpasses his dad's peak figure; outstanding 3yo and emerging star who sets a tall standard. |

Champion 2yo last season, having won the Middle Park and Dewhurst (both on soft ground), and he ran well in the 2,000 Guineas on reappearance; rather a disappointing favourite in the 6f Commonwealth Cup, then couldn't quite get the job done in the 7f Prix Jean Prat having held every chance; drops back from Group 1 level with leading claims on best form. |

Won two Group 1s at Newmarket last autumn (6f/7f, soft), namely the Middle Park and the Dewhurst; reappeared with excellent third in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good), where he was outstayed by the first two; unraced on fast ground; has the potential to be a top-class sprinter. |

Good-ground wins on first two runs before close second in Group 2 Gimcrack (6f, good), then enjoyed stellar autumn here with Group 1 wins in the Middle Park (6f, soft) and Dewhurst (7f, soft), becoming Champion Two-Year-Old; had a racecourse gallop here last month; stayed on well in the Dewhurst which provides optimism he'll see out 1m; a tongue-tie goes on; could have a big say, even though William Buick rides stablemate Ruling Court. |

Won at Newcastle (1m, AW) last October on second start and fourth on reappearance in the 2,000 Guineas (1m, good), albeit no match for the front three; creditable sixth of 18 in the Derby at Epsom (1m4f, good) 12 days ago; he'll appreciate the drop back in grade and is not discounted. |

Dam's winners include Just Fine, who won an Australian Group 1 at 1m4f; a low-profile 2yo career ended with a 1m AW maiden win but he led for a long way in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket and did well to head the pack behind the first three; he was said to be only 80% ready, so improvement can be expected but it's unlikely to be enough for him to take a hand today. |

Third on debut at Lingfield (7f, AW) last September and won Newcastle maiden (1m, AW) in October; this unexposed half-brother to Australian Group 1 winner Just Fine is a likeable prospect who can be expected to progress, but he's bottom of this pack on ratings and by some margin. |

Royal Lodge winner last term and holding his form well in a busy 2025 campaign, most recently second in the Princess Of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket (1m4f, good to firm; Group 2) against his elders; ties in with Galveston on Royal Ascot running in cheekpieces (reapplied today); solid. |

Won the Group 2 Royal Lodge (1m, soft) last September and has run well in defeat this season, including in the 2,000 Guineas and the Dante; respectable fourth when upped to 1m4f in the Group 2 King Edward VII at Royal Ascot (good to firm) three weeks ago and benefits from very handy 3yo allowance now taking on older horses for the first time; might not be far away. |

Beat the top-class Delacroix in a Leopardstown Group 2 as a 2yo (1m, good); sixth in the 2,000 Guineas before making all in a Leopardstown Listed race in June (1m1f, good); respectable efforts in the Irish Derby here (1m4f, good) and in a York Group 2 (10.5f, good); shaped as though he would improve over his return in a Group 3 here last time when fading into fourth (1m2f, soft); a good bit to find with the top ones here all the same. |

Enjoyed fine 2yo campaign, notably Group 1 National Stakes win on this weekend on good ground; three runs in first half of this season well below that level however, including beaten 6.25l in Irish 2,000 Guineas and when not looking to stay 1m2f in Prix Eugene Adam at Saint-Cloud in June; returns from a break with plenty to prove, including on soft ground. |

Unraced on going softer than good; Listed winner as a 2yo and, dropped back from Classic level, ran respectably in the Jersey Stakes (7f Group 3; fared best of the near-side group) at Royal Ascot most recently; that latest effort has received several boosts since; clear possibilities on handicap debut, provided the cards drop right (usually held up in rear). |

2024 Dewhurst runner-up on soft; highly tried in a three-run campaign last season, which never really took off; seasonal return was much more positive when coming home strongly from off the pace in a Leopardstown Listed contest (1m, yielding to soft) to take the runner-up spot behind a better-fancied stablemate; big player but this better ground is a small concern. |

Listed win at two; showed he's trained on when fourth to Field Of Gold in the Craven at Newmarket (1m, good) on reappearance; understandable he couldn't get involved in the 2,000 Guineas next time but a subsequent no-show in the Jersey at Royal Ascot is harder to forgive. |
