Made a mockery of his opening mark, winning three Southwell handicaps in a week at the start of the year (6f/7f); only fourth at Newcastle in his bid for a four-timer but that was a useful contest and his effort was right up there with his best; should stay 1m (half-sister a Group 1 winner at the trip) and his best days could still be ahead of him. |

Looked a handful as a 2yo but he was gelded after his third run and he has been making hay in handicaps this month, winning three times at Southwell (6f/7f) in the space of six days; effectively 8lb higher than for the latest of them and tackling a different calibre of opposition today, but he is bred to be smart and this stiff 6f should be ideal. |
