Form & Verdict
Seven-time winner has shown improved form this year to win all four starts; began with a Goodwood Listed race before taking the Group 2 Duke of Cambridge Stakes, then claiming the Falmouth Stakes and Prix Rothschild; has beaten Precise in both those Group 1s, but only narrowly last time; has to remain at her best to do so again, but is still the one to beat.

Runner-up in the Group 1 Sun Chariot on the other Newmarket course last October (1m, good) and this lightly raced 4yo made it two from two for this year when winning the Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm) last month, travelling well to beat Jancis by just under 2l; that latest performance suggests she's capable of landing a Group 1 prize; key player.

Unraced at two; progressive filly who won Sandown Listed race (good to firm) last July and rounded off 2025 with fine Group 1 second at Newmarket (good; Cathedral fifth) in October; asserted late to beat Kon Tiki going away at Goodwood (also 1m, good; Shes Perfect third, Arisaig fourth) on her comeback last month, indicating she's set for another good campaign; leading contender.

Form & Verdict
Has won four times on AW up to 1m2f but is yet to score on turf, though has run several fine races in defeat; was 5l behind Blue Bolt in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes and posted a similar effort when second in a Killarney Listed race since; has plenty to find today.

Four-time AW winner but has bettered that form on turf this year when second in Group 2 at the Curragh (1m, good) and beaten 5.5l in Duke Of Cambridge; step up in trip didn't suit in Pretty Polly last time; front-runner and dangerous if allowed dictate.

Form & Verdict
Has won four of her five starts; won a 6f Cork maiden on debut last year before running a cracker in the Irish 1,000 Guineas; went missing after that but has gone unbeaten in three runs this year including a Group 3 over 7f here and Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes over 1m at the Curragh in May; absent since but goes well fresh; however, she has a bit to find with the best of these.

Bolted up in a Cork maiden last May; thrown straight into Group 1 company in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and coped admirably, beaten 4 1/2l in fifth behind Lake Victoria, despite racing keenly; won over 7f at Gowran last month after a lengthy absence; backed that up with an emphatic Group 3 win at Leopardstown; can continue on the upgrade.

Looked an exciting prospect when bolting up in Cork maiden last May; thrown straight into Group 1 company in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and acquitted herself very well, beaten 4 1/2l into fifth behind Lake Victoria, despite racing keenly; won over this trip at Gowran after a lengthy absence, leaving an impression she can go on to better things.

Gained first win at stakes level when taking a Listed fillies' event at Navan last month (1m, good); found wanting in a deeper race over 1m here on Irish Derby weekend next time; resumed winning ways when landing a Group 3 at Leopardstown last time (7f, good), however, the proximity of an 83-rated rival (1l) to her takes the sheen off the form a bit.

Decent overall form since fourth in this race 12 months ago; gained first win at stakes level when taking a Listed fillies' event at Navan last month; seemed to appreciate the step up to 1m that day, but was found wanting in a deeper race at the Curragh on Irish Derby weekend.

Form & Verdict
Has a record of 7-16 and is a rare filly in winning Group 1 races at 2, 3 and 4 years old; took the Moyglare Stakes at 2, Irish 1,000 Guineas at 3, then the Prix Rothschild, this race plus the Sun Chariot Stakes at 4; beat Blue Bolt with ease in the last-named, but that filly is a different proposition now; hasn't been at her best in two runs this year, but looks to have been targeted at this race and yard is in form, so respected.

Won three 1m Group 1s last year on good or good to yielding ground; well below form on final 4yo start and she folded tamely when last of four in Group 2 Middleton Fillies' Stakes at York (1m2f, good) on reappearance, when lack of stamina was possibly a factor; takes a significant drop in grade and she's the one to beat if back to her best.

Won three 1m Group 1s against her own sex last year, namely the Prix Rothschild, Matron and Sun Chariot (all good/good to yielding); tackles 1m2f for just the second time on her seasonal return (wasn't strong at the finish when fourth in the 2024 Prix de l'Opera on previous attempt but it was only just short of her best RPR at the time); has to carry a 3lb penalty and wasn't at her best on her reappearance in 2024 or 2025; top mare but there are reasons to oppose her this time.

Has been one of the stories of the Flat season, racking up a five-timer from 6.5f to 1m, notably taking a Killarney Listed race in July; probably didn't stay 1m1f at the Curragh last time and this trip suits better, but has lots to find with the best of these.

Galway maiden winner last year was placed in Group 3 contests twice after before finding the Irish 1000 Guineas too tough; got back on the scoresheet when beating Meriden 1.5l, receiving 3lb from her in a 7f Galway Listed last time; best form is on soft so the more rain that falls the better; trip a question.

Top-class 2yo, winning the Moyglare Stud Stakes and Fillies' Mile; wasn't fully ready when beaten by True Love in the 1,000 Guineas but rebounded to win the Irish version and Coronation Stakes after; beaten by Blue Bolt twice since, though only narrowly at Deauville; was since a close third behind colts in the Prix Jacques Le Marois; looks sure to go close, though she might need a bit of luck in running from stall 1.

Underwhelming favourite in the 1,000 Guineas on reappearance but has left that behind with subsequent wins in the Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh (1m, good) and the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm); after a slow start last time she was trapped three wide but still won in convincing fashion, and she's a leading contender in her bid for a fifth Group 1 win.

Highly progressive 2yo last season, which concluded with two Group 1 wins (7f/1m, yielding/good), and she bounced back from an underwhelming reappearance in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) to win the Irish version at the Curragh (1m, good) by just over 2l from stablemate and 1,000 Guineas winner True Love; won a Group 3 on fast ground; she's the one to beat.

Kept busy in 2yo campaign, which featured wins in the Queen Mary at this meeting (5f, good to firm) and the Group 1 Cheveley Park at Newmarket (6f, good to firm); posted second Group 1 win in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) then came second to Precise in the Irish version at the Curragh (1m, good), beaten about 2l; work to do to turn the tables on her stablemate but she maybe wasn't at her very best last time; the standout danger.

Queen Mary winner; showed top-class form over 6f later in the season; had American Queen behind in fourth when winning the Cheveley Park; beating Magny Cours and Pivotal Attack readily over 7f on reappearance; travelled strongly and stayed on powerfully to win the 1,000 Guineas; had the advantage of race fitness over stablemate Precise who should get closer now.

Verdict

A tremendous renewal featuring the third clash between Precise and BLUE BOLT, the two standout performers on this year's form. Though the latter wasn't at her best in beating the Irish 1,000 Guineas winner at Deauville last time, her yard remains in top form and she can maintain her superiority over that rival. Last year's winner Fallen Angel has been well below her best twice this term, but it would be dangerous to dismiss her, with any softening of the ground a help. [Tyrone Molloy]
