All seven races at 7f; progressive in handicaps in the spring and made it 2-3 for the year when doing it readily at Ascot (good) in May; down the field in the Group 3 Jersey at the Royal meeting (good to firm; third of seven in the near-side group) but he's better than that and is not ruled out in view of his previous promise, especially as the step up to 1m could suit.

Group 3 winner at two but easily his best run came in defeat when a close third in the French 2,000 Guineas in May (1m, very soft; led and then rallied); since then he's finished down the field in the French Derby and again in the 1m1f Strensall at York where he raced too close to a strong pace; he could have pressure up front if intent on leading, but under his optimum conditions he's a player.

Won on debut here (7f, good) last June and made it 2-3 as 2yo when making all in the Group 3 Autumn Stakes at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) last October; reappeared with fine front-running third in the Group 1 Poule d'Essai Des Poulains at Longchamp (1m, very soft) in May; down the field in the Group 1 Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly (10.5f, good) three weeks later but has had a break since and is very much of interest judged on his previous form.
