Form & Verdict
Made a promising debut, which preceded wins in novices on the July course (7f, good to firm; easily) and at Kempton (1m; workmanlike, but the front two were clear); carried a penalty last time and that form would be franked should third-placed The Renegade run well in the first today; clearly useful at the very least and Buick prefers him of the two stablemates.

Form & Verdict
All runs at 7f, in cheekpieces the last twice; well beaten when favourite for a deep nursery at York's Ebor meeting but that was his first no-show and he's been gelded in the meantime; an 8lb rise for beating just two rivals on the July course the run before looked harsh at the time but the form is working out; respected.

Two wins over 7f last summer (including one here) and started off the year with two commendable silver medals at Meydan (1m1f/1m2f), but beaten a very long way when last of the 29 runners in the Britannia at Royal Ascot (1m, good to firm) last month; has plenty to prove after that.

Sole handicap win came off 15lb lower and he was beaten in two small-field events last autumn before jetting off to Dubai, where he was runner-up in both his races (1m1f Listed and 1m2f conditions event); couldn't call him well handicapped; goes on all ground.

Form & Verdict
Recorded RPRs in the 80s on all four runs and the horse he narrowly beat on nursery debut at Doncaster (1m, good) made the frame in a competitive handicap last week at Ayr; has a 4lb rise to contend with but he's already showing the determination associated with so many from this yard.

Triple winner at up to 1m6f, all on a sound surface; stepped up on two early-season efforts when scoring at Newmarket last month; went up 3lb for that and was beaten over 8l at Hamilton (1m5f, good) latest; more needed.

Can front-run; surged back to form at Newmarket (1m6f, good to firm) two weeks ago, going on 3f out and seeing off the strong challenger Too Friendly; acts on good to soft; up 3lb but seriously considered.

Form & Verdict
Both runs over 7f on good to firm; mixed messages remain as to what he achieved in a narrow debut win at Salisbury and he was a remote fourth of five runners in an Ascot Listed race next time; probably better than he showed that day but this opening mark is no gift.

Continues to edge down the weights and he's well treated on the pick of this winter's course form; however, he appears to have gone off the boil on his last few outings and needs to raise his game.

2lb lower than for his Newcastle win in December but his form has gone off the boil more recently; Billy Loughnane, who was aboard for the Newcastle win, is back on today so a revival wouldn't be a bolt from the blue.

Form & Verdict
The most exposed of these after six starts but not to be passed over lightly as she was keeping on over 7f at Doncaster last time and it was a Listed race when trying 1m previously.

Her last win came at last season's Glorious Goodwood when the ground was heavy; she has run mostly respectably this term but having ground softer than good, preferably soft or heavy, seems vital to her chance.
