Admirable campaigner down the years and although he hasn't placed in three visits to York, he has been poorly drawn in two of them and ran well in Listed company on the other occasion; looked to retain ability when third at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) on 2000 Guineas day and he shouldn't be crabbed for his Wokingham effort as he trounced the only other rival to race up the stands' rail; it has been a long time since he's had a mark this low; big run on the cards. |
