Form & Verdict
Seemed to find 6f on the sharp side on debut; three from three over 7f since, including wins in the Acomb at York (rallied gamely) on good ground and Champagne Stakes at Doncaster (made all, comfortably beat two rivals) on soft; sire Frankel won this contest in 2010 en route to becoming a legend; progressing very well and has a leading chance on ratings.

Races prominently and can make the running; can battle too, as he showed when taking care of Indestructible in the Acomb at York and the Champagne on soft ground at Doncaster, before holding on by a head from Royal Scotsman in the Group 1 Dewhurst here on good (unraced on firmer); mishap leaving the stalls at Newbury two weeks ago prevented any assessment of his progress from two to three, but he was one of the top 2yos and may well stay 1m.

Form & Verdict
Has looked a very useful 6f colt, having finished third in the Coventry then won the Richmond; form dipped in the Gimcrack most recently, finishing only fifth; bred to stay 7f but doesn't particularly shape as if he's going to benefit from this extra furlong; may well get outstayed against rivals who are already 7f winners.

Last season's 3yo campaign was cut short in June after two disappointing Group 1 performances and he was well beaten on his reappearance in the Group 1 Lockinge a fortnight ago; needs to prove he's still the force of old but he was third in last season's 2,000 Guineas (1m, soft) and if tapping back into that ability he has a major shout today; versatile ground-wise.

Form & Verdict
Kingman colt who has created a highly favourable impression with his wins in 7f maiden at Sandown (good to firm) and Tattersalls Stakes over C&D (good), both times impressing with his professional manner in the closing stages and striding out nicely; Group 1 prospect who could well give Sir Michael Stoute a belated second Dewhurst win, 36 years after Ajdal in 1986.

Group 3 runner-up in June 2024; nothing like the same force subsequently but some encouragement can be taken from his stable/seasonal debut in the Victoria Cup at Ascot, where he was soundly beaten overall but was first of seven in the group that raced initially on the far side; he's not ruled out.

Very promising early in career for his first stable but broadly hasn't lived up to expectations and his form went markedly awry last term for a second yard; big turnaround is required on debut for his third trainer; dismissed unless the betting speaks positively.

Runner-up in Group 3 at Newmarket last June and very well treated on that form; watch the betting, but he was tailed off last September on his final run for Sir Michael Stoute and has struggled for his new stable this season.

Form & Verdict
Turned over at short odds in the National Stakes at the Curragh last month, fading into fourth on the soft going; had shown stacks of promise with his two good-ground wins, notably in the Futurity (won going away) at the same venue, and may still develop into a Group 1 colt when conditions are suitable; trainer has won this race seven times; remains of interest.

Form & Verdict
Along with Aesop's Fables he was perhaps unsuited by soft ground in the National Stakes, coming home last of the six runners; progressive on good/faster otherwise and landed the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood (led close home) the time before, form that ties him in with Nostrum on a line through the runner-up; could go well.

Form & Verdict
Raced only on good or firmer; unblemished colt who is four from four, including Listed wins over 7f at Ascot (readily by wide margin) and 1m at Haydock (worked harder but got the job done) the last twice; sire Teofilo won the Dewhurst in 2006, while trainer won this race in 2019 and 2021 with horses who were still unbeaten going into it; has strong credentials.

Form & Verdict
Absent since his Superlative win at the Newmarket July festival (7f, good to firm) three months ago when narrowly beating Victory Dance, who was about 4l behind Nostrum here on latest outing; faces a tougher assignment in this field, especially as he lacks recent match practice, but he's two from two and open to any amount of further improvement.

Likeable 3yo who met trouble when fourth to Paddington in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m, good) and posted a personal best when running Kinross to a neck in the Lennox at Goodwood (7f, good to soft) next time; looks the pick of the younger brigade and likely to have a say.

Smart colt whose 7f form includes wins in the 2022 Superlative (good to firm) and this year's Greenham (soft); solid efforts over 1m at Group 1 level the last twice, finishing second in the French Guineas then fourth in the St James's Palace Stakes; respected back down in trip/grade.
