Prior to this year all his best form was at 7f on ground good or slower, and yet he popped up at 50-1 in a fast-ground Queen Anne and proved that was no flash in the pan with his close fourth to Bow Echo in the Sussex Stakes (again 1m on good to firm), in which he was nearest at the finish having been held up out the back; hard to knock. |
