Had been expensive to follow but he ended a losing run at Chepstow (6f, good to firm) two weeks ago when more positive tactics were deployed; unpenalised when bolting up back at Chepstow on Tuesday and he is effectively 11lb higher today; slower ground shouldn't be an issue but this will require a good deal more. |

Pulled hard on his first two runs back from wind surgery (7f) and was much happier being allowed to stride on when easily winning an apprentice handicap over C&D last Sunday; no penalty and he can only look well treated now back in the groove. |
